Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by David L — 01 Jan 2018
This film is beautifully Animated, the set pieces are gorgeous when Anakin & Ahsoka walk by a giant fossil in the dessert & the Lightsaber battles were better than the Lightsaber battles in The Force Awakens & The Last Jedi.
The plot is compelling, Anakin & Ahsoka have to return Jabba the Hutt but Count Dooku is in Jabba's palace telling him the baby was murdered & Anakin is coming to kill Jabba, all to make the Hutt Clan turn against the Jedi, somewhere in there is some George Lucas Storytelling that has heart.
, it makes perfect sense. This heroes who save the day & do the right thing, the characters are likable, it moves at a fast pace for its short run time & I'd rather watch this than half of the Live Action ones, I think this is better than The Force Awakens, Rogue One & The Last Jedi, the film's structure is closer to the prequels & these new Disney Star Wars films have No structure except Rogue One.
A Criminally Underrated Animated film, if only this got the same recognition & praise that these shitty Disney Star Wars movies get. The movie understands the Definition of JEDI. I'll definitely go back & watch this.
