The movie completely ignores all the Star Wars Lore, completely ruins what was achieved by the 6 Episodes that came before it and adds nothing new to the Star Wars universe. They expect you to believe everything that is thrown at you in quick succession without explaining anything.
Even as a standalone movie it's mediocre at best because of a badly written plot and horrible pacing. At least the visuals, music, and acting were really good.
