Review of Starter for 10 (2006) by Chris M — 28 Mar 2010
Entertaining, hilarious, and awkward. This movie follows in the footsteps of more well-known American coming-of-age comedies, without stealing from them at all. Of course the plot is somewhat predictable, movies like these always are.
Tom Vaughan just managed to put a novel and interesting spin on the popular genre. I, for one, can not get enough of this movie's angst, tenuous relationships, and painfully awkward moments.
