Review of Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life (2018) by Peter W — 12 Aug 2018
I personally enjoyed seeing both actors united on stage. They talk about the past, make fun of each other and manage to provide some classy performances. One such segment includes Steve Martin playing a banjo (my personal favourite moment from the show). If you're like me and have grown up with these actors, this is a fun special to watch on Netflix. It's also a reminder for Netflix watchers that there is more to see than what you may encounter in a traditional Stand up Comedy show. I personally enjoy Stand Up shows that provide randomness and witty humour, which this certainly has. Sure, it can be a tad crude, but considering these actors, what do you expect? After all these years, the two funny old guys we got to know while growing up in the 80's can still make us laugh.
