Review of Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) by Dan G — 05 Sep 2007
Beginning of film: 100% open and excited to experience F.W.Murnau's 1927 masterpiece, "Sunrise".
24 minutes: Enthralled in the gripping plot, intriguing characters and interesting visual experience.
25 minutes: (In my opinion) The climax of the film occurs, the antagonist seeks redemption.
26 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes: Why is this still going? This movie hasn't had an antagonist, therefore it hasn't had a protagonist (for me to relate to) or a gripping plot (by any stretch of the imagination) for an hour!
1 hour 37 minutes: Finally.
