Review of Superman: Brainiac Attacks (2006) by Jim A — 02 Apr 2011
This animated feature is mostly a long, drawn out battle between Brainiac and the Man of Steel. The remaining quarter of the film is(I'm sad to say) so depressingly corny that it is disrespectful to both Superman as a character and as a symbol.
Although Lance Henriksen's Brainiac is a decent replacement for Corey Burton's(his "Terminator"-esqe robot voice sounds like something akin to the "Transformers"), Powers Boothe can't even TOUCH Clancy Brown's superior portrayl of Lex Luthor.
