A couple of great set pieces make this worth watching but if you find yourself giggling every time Routh appears on the screen I guess he's just not making it as Superman. Maybe if they'd made his hairstyle a little less strange.
The Christopher Reeve movies were enjoyable but too light and the Cavill movies were enjoyable but too dark. Guess we have yet to see the "perfect" Superman. In my opinion Batman isn't faring too well in the casting dept either.
