Review of Supersonic (2016) by Jennifer T — 27 Oct 2016
Just watched it On Demand today. BRILLIANT. An absolute must for Oasis fans, or anyone who's curious about the pre-Internet days of music, when a band could rise to meteoric heights solely on great songs and bravado, and why this band in particular is still so very important to the history of modern music. There's no shocking revelations or gossip here-just the Gallagher brothers, other family and band members, and those closest to Oasis, telling it like it was. It's a compelling narrative, and a wonderful chance to relive the time in which 'the biggest band in the world was also the best band in the world' (to quote the editor of Revolver magazine from the 2003 documentary "Live Forever").
Supersonic is not to be missed.
