Review of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (1982) by Private U — 20 Oct 2008

Although I have a hard time giving any movie with Johnny Depp less than 4 stars, I had to do it wit hthis one. The setting, costumes, and actors are all visually perfect for this movie. However, the supporting actors, including Sasha Baren Cohen (aka borat), completely dominated Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in singing.

There's more blood here than any action movie.
