Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Marc B — 28 Feb 2017
It doesn't pack the punch of the first, but it's smart, funny and shows how far Danny Boyle has come as a filmmaker. The character development works, the photography is stunning and the best part is the cultural references to the original that have been reimagined so well.
The music helped define Trainspotting, and although it doesn't quite hit those heights, the remixes and new tracks don't disappoint.
