Pluses: Cast and plot.
Minuses: Lead male role is implausible after birthday party dragging down the entire script into predictable and unrealistic.
Average: Everything else. The director and screenplay may have turned a life lesson into a slapstick farce.
You will appreciate and enjoy the first 2/3 of the script, acting, direction, etc. Then, an alien takes over and the bottom falls out. I wished to have my hands on the script/screenplay from the birthday party onward. This great start ultimately bombed.
