Review of Taken (2004) by Tero H — 30 Dec 2012
Gandhi once said, "It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover inability.".
This movie is violent, but so justified seems his vengeance that it is acceptable to see his payback. Human trafficking is a fact.
My opinion on the matter of this movie is that either the government should stop the crime by legal actions (the punishments should be so severe that no-one would be doing the crimes) or some other massive campaign should be created to stop such human trafficking.
Great acting, there is lots of action and thrilling moments. This action movie delivers what it promises, if you can handle the violence and the disgusting people.
