Review of Tell No One (2006) by Marcus W — 25 Jun 2009
The French have made some good films but usually only when Jeunet or Besson are involved. Here we have a thriller without any thrills or tension. Just by reading the DVD cover we find out that his wife is still alive so that's one subplot sorted.
We also see early on that he's innocent so all we're left with is watching what's left of the mystery be (very) slowly solved - and the reveal isn't all that interesting anyway, I think someone thought up the tagline before anything else.
The whole film is just too laidback and proof absolute that the French should stick to what they know.
