Review of Tenet (2020) by Ronturford — 27 Sep 2020
I'm a Nolan fanboy but this was a real disappointment. It's not that the plot is 'complex', it's that the plot is simply underexplained. It's as if someone took a novel and threw away every 10th page: that's not a 'complex' novel, it's just a novel with essential stuff missing.
That's Tenet. Great locations; great set pieces; but you don't really care what's happening because it's never clear why anything is happening.
