Review of Terminator Genisys (2015) by Amit A — 25 Jul 2017
An exercise in crapness. In fact, the only thing crapper than the film itself is the presence of the talentless Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, who can't even muster the acting chops to do a pale imitation of the great Michael Biehn, who played the character as a skittish, traumatised war veteran. Instead, Courtney chooses to forgo this free acting pass, and instead plays the character as a brainless knuckledragging meathead, someone more likely to have played Call of Duty endlessly than exposed to the horrors of actual warfare.
Crap. Just crap. Takes a bigger dump on the franchise than even T3, or Salvation.
