Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Jade B — 17 Jun 2018

The 5th wave had a really good idea but was executed poorly. The beginning was pieced together very quickly without a lot of backstories and the ending was rushed. The actors were good but there wasn't enough time to see a real connection between the characters.

This movie had a lot of promise and I am disappointed. I wish we could have seen more scenes between Cassie and Evan, so their relationship could evolve more. I also wish that there was more interaction between the kids and the others at the end of the film.

I would not recomend this film but I am glad that I saw it.
