Something about the script seems self sabotaging and heading in a direction just for the sake of conforming to a third act. In addition the casting director has made some poor choices in selecting actors that look far too edgy and lacking in goofy appeal given the film's incredibly fluffy plot.

Having said that, it looks absolutely great with spectacular production design in particular.
