Review of The Anderson Tapes (1971) by Jeff Z — 02 Aug 2011
A pretty light-weight offering from Lumet, Connery is obviously having a good time in the lead role, and as a caper, the film's mostly a success, though it seems to be following the standard heist tropes almost to a fault.
You've seen this movie before, albeit perhaps not with the kind of polish you get from a director like Lumet and a leading man like Connery.
