Review of The Anderson Tapes (1971) by Private U — 27 Aug 2008
This works well as a heist movie and as an example of what makes the '70's the best movie decade ever. I'm glad I stumbled onto this, as I'd never heard of it before. Tarantino was definitely heavily influenced by this for sure.
Connery as an 'everyman' type crook, the film debut of the great Christopher Walken, a funky Q Jones score, what more do you want? Put this in your Netflix queue, I'm interested in what others think about this one.
