Review of The Attorney (2013) by Juli N — 03 Aug 2014
Yang Woo-seok's politically charged The Attorney can be a bit overly-sentimental throughout the court scenes, but the revolutionary message still manages to bring a few tears to you eye. Chronicling the conflict and fear between North and South Korea in the 1970s-80s, the sociopolitical commentary expressed in this film is second to none.
An incredible drama that even people ignorant of the political issues it's dealing with will enjoy.
