Review of The Bad Batch (2017) by Karina S — 20 Oct 2018

The story had potential to be awesome but it just didn't live up to that in execution. The beginning was good with the idea of an apocalyptic wasteland where people have turned to cannibalism and you see all the cannibals working out and are all crazy muscley which you think will come up later in some sort of epic battle but no.

After that first bit the movie slides very quickly into tedium with any characters relationships not really making sense and then a weird love story shoehorned in which makes no sense as the girl would surely hate the guy based on her experiences with his people earlier in the movie.

I am very surprised I made it the end but I was left unsatisfied and a bit confused.
