Review of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) by Kevin B — 17 Nov 2018

The first segment was good, but like everyone else is saying, it gets more and more tedious as it goes on to each remaining short story. The characters are well acted and the movie has beautiful cinematography, but the plots for the shorts are very cliche' and uninteresting to the degree that it is basically almost like an Old Western version of 'Hail, Caesar!' i.

E. a non-plot movie that basically says, "Hey! Remember Western movies? We do too! Teeheehee!" If that's your idea of fun then have fun with this nostalgia piece I guess.
