Review of The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) by Dharland — 13 May 2023
I expected a lot more from the writers and director. Plot lacks any kind of high-stakes because it is so unrealistic. Like the idea was to make two guys going to battle for no reason (yes I know as a metaphor for the civil war there) but it seems overly trivial and is never explained.
That is lazy writing.
