Review of The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years (2016) by Simon T — 20 Jan 2017
The single problem with Ron Howard's overview of the four years the Beatles toured is that - unless you've been living in a cave all your life - there's precious little we haven't seen or didn't already know.
He's managed to secure new interviews with Paul, Ringo and a smattering of celebrity Beatles fans, and George Martin's son Giles has beefed up the sound. But it's all a bit ho-hum.
