Excellent move, especially because even though this movie was made in 1946 it resonates even today with our veterans. Much like the 1938 classic All Quiet on the Western Front. Don't let the age of the movie fool you how good it really is.
Most movies from back then had integrity and didn't rely on crass language an situations to make a decent film.
