Review of The Big Clock (1948) by John D — 01 Sep 2010
This movie started so slowly I felt bored and wanted to give up on it after 30 minutes, but once the murder takes place the film's pace changes considerably and makes the movie very interesting. Ray Milland gives a good performance as George Stroud a man who has to track down a murderer when all the clues lead to one man, him! But the real show-stealer is Elsa Lanchester! She's hilarious to watch as an eccentric painter.
