Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Grant S — 17 May 2015
Inadvertently, I watched three Fritz Lang's films in a row and chose this master piece to close the cycle. The Big Heat could be the supreme film of the noir film genre and Lang´s in particular. The casting was suited, performances are great, and the script is fluid.
The character of the honest cop, but too inflexible that put in risk to the ones he loved and probably to others that help him will be inspiring for posterior films.
