The Black Phone is one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. The writing was excellent but some of the jump scares did feel forced. The atmosphere was outstanding, so creepy and intense. The performances from Ethan Hawke, Madeleine McGraw, and Mason Thames were exceptional.
The makeup was superb especially on all the murder victims. The score was great and it really helped with the intensity of the movie. An A+ movie for me.
