I skipped seeing this when it first came out in 2012, because the offbeat lead character replacement made it look like it was an undersized spin-off of a franchise that I never cared much for. Jeremy Renner does justice in replacing Matt Damon as the protagonist, yet as expected; it's generic "spy on the run" plotline gives rise to just an average predictable action movie.
