Review of The Caine Mutiny (1954) by Bob W — 22 Dec 2007
The problem with this was its length. it was too long for what it was. if it was supposed to be a courtroom drama keep it mostly in the courtroom. the court only came into play in the last half hour and save humphey bogarts acting there were no strong performances up until the last hour! yes, you had to show things on board the ship such as the events with the key and the yellow dye but show them.
dont show sea for a whole hour and nothing much else going on. this lacks where a film like damn the defiant doesnt lack. the only good thing about this was bogarts acting.
