Review of The Case for Christ (2017) by Nitpicker . — 03 Jun 2018
An atheist reporter goes on a journey to prove Christianity wrong but winds up converting. Based on a true story that inspired the 1998 book of the same name.
Pros:
- Thought provoking.
Cons:
- The wife bullies him into it.
- The evidence is glossed over.
- It's self-congratulatory.
- His only options were to convert or walk away.
Bottom Line:
What I see are people who were brought to Christ out of tragedy, sickness, loss, and fear. They want to be comforted. They are not overly concerned about facts. They live in a bubble. It's real enough for them.
