Review of The Cell (2000) by Amateurfilmvwr — 30 Jun 2023
Very similar to that of Silence of the Lambs mixed with the Matrix but suffers from uneven direction that chooses style over substance. It almost seems like a feature length NIN music video mixed with a Marilyn Manson music video.
J-LO, Vaughn and Vincent D'Onofrio give great performances, Lopez is the weakest of the bunch especially in some of the dream sequences but she gives a good performance overall.
