Review of The Change-Up (2011) by Michael L — 28 Jun 2012
So I sit here looking at that 25% rating and I can't help but wonder if the critics who reviewed this film even watched it. This was by far one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. At one point I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Bateman and Reynolds are excellent and the supporting characters are vibrant and quirky. The movie has its tender moments and kind of makes you think about your own life and if you are living it the way you have to or the way you want to. Hey, maybe that's why the critics slammed it - it made them think.
Solid cast, fast paced and funnier than &*#@, this film is one you should not miss. I'm glad my wife bought it. It's never leaving our movie collection.
