You have to forgive this movie one or two plot flaws, but if you can get over those hurdles then enjoy Thomson and Tucci theatrically thriving in their troubled-marriage situation, aided by Ian McEwan's control of the scriptwriting and dialogue.
On top of all that, some challenging themes to keep on thinking about after the curtain falls.
