One dimensional villains, wooden acting, predictable premise, and a tone that feels like a high school summer camp movie. The Circle was supposed to be the 1st surprise hit of 2017 and is instead the biggest let down of the year so far.
Such a tragic waste of Emma Watson, John Boyega, and Tom Hanks is a movie capital offense. With a tag line of "Knowing everything is better", I feel obligated to make sure you know to skip this heavy handed metaphor.
