Review of The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) by Matthew V — 04 Feb 2018
Conceptually, The Cloverfield Paradox seems like a lost episode of Black Mirror... but the excellent performances and production values can't save it from an awful, ham-fisted, irrational trope-filled script. Oh, it's also not compatible with either Cloverfield or 10 Cloverfield Lane, so I'm not really sure what's going on with this "franchise" at all.
Meh.
