THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT is ultimately a love story between the Warrens yet at the same time feels like a grand epic told through a small lens. The acting on display here is pretty magnificent for what is essentially an exorcism movie, and the directing from Michael Chavez is nothing to complain about but still can't capture that Wan essence of the first two.
A fun, scary thriller that veers into full on good-vs-evil in a wild finale.
