Review of The Conversation (1974) by Arun J — 17 Nov 2012
This movie is an example of how a single twist in plot can make you excuse all dull parts of the movie. The premise of the movie is based on a conversation of a potential pair of murder victims. Gene Hackman is a professional surveillance expert who hears this conversation.
He is already over-ridden with guilt because of a similar murder for which he blames himself for. This is a cakewalk for Hackman, as he portrays himself as a private person and doesn't let out anything.
This is a valid fear because even the tiniest information he leaks is used to his disadvantage. All together a fresh-plot movie.
