Review of The Creature Walks Among Us (1956) by Marisa M — 20 Apr 2005
[b]I had always heard the third CREATURE film was a real dud, but I found it to be a surprisingly good and thought-provoking sequel, far superior to REVENGE. It's actually quite a moving story, and the characters are more interesting here than in the previous film.
As a previous reviewer commented, this is very much the ALIEN 3 of the CREATURE films and like that overlooked entry, this final Gill Man picture is well-worth a second look. Lastly, as part of Universal's excellent MONSTER LEGACY series, THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US dvd boasts a remarkably pristine transfer sure to please fans of these legendary horror classics.
