Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Michael S — 26 Dec 2015
Hold on for the ride of your life. If you had the pleasure of seeing this one in theaters you know what I'm talking about. The movie is pure adrenaline, darkness and fun, and then the joker REALLY goes crazy.
I enjoyed everything about this movie until it I got about 3/4 of the way through. It was then that I realized I was in the middle of one of my top 5 movie experiences of all time. Heath Ledger dabbled in some dark spaces to turn out a performance that many were doubtful could match Nicholson's take on this wonderful anti-hero.
Sadly, he may have gotten to close to the tortured antagonist he delivered, with his shocking death before the movie's release.
