This isn't as bad as people make it out to be. (Though after several viewings I noticed a film editing error in near the end). It's a satisfying ending to a trilogy. It's stronger than the third film of trilogies such as The Godfather, The Matrix, Mad Max, and more.
The only trilogy where I think the third film is just as strong or the strongest is with The Lord of the Rings. I love the mash-up of No Man's Land, Knightfall, and A Tale of Two Cities.
