If you have read the books, and enjoyed them, then you'll enjoy this adaptation. If you haven't you may want to before watching the film. SPOILERS AHEAD.
This movie is a mixture of The Waste Lands and Wizard and Glass. Books 3 and 4 in the series. It doesn't track completely with the books as there is no book 1 or book 2. No introduction to the gunslinger, no Drawing of the Three. So that means its just Jake and Roland. Good to finally see an attempt on this incredible series. All the actors played their parts extremely well. The movie seemed short, but after 7 books it would be hard to match the sense of time devoted to finish a story. However, they do leave it open for more adventures. After all, there are other worlds than these.
