Review of The Day of the Triffids (1963) by Richard L — 19 Mar 2016
Basically, it's an apocalyptic movie with giant carnivorous plants from space instead of zombies (think Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, George A. ROMERO's movies from 1978 and 1985). It succeeds better as a science-fiction than an horror movie.
Some of the editing is rough and the two parallel storylines sometimes feel underdeveloped.
