Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) by David L — 03 Sep 2013
Audacious, riveting, suspenseful and adroit, The Day the Earth Stood Still is a science fiction classic and one of the best the genre has to offer. With strong character development, unbelievably engaging story, very important message and superb acting, this is an almost impeccable film which is clever and exciting at the same time, a rarity that only few films manage to achieve.
