Review of The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) by Private U — 12 Feb 2009
I liked it. Had no desire to see it but found it very interesting. The little boy did get a little too "golly gee" for me, but I guess that is what it was like in the 1950's. It saddens me that we haven't taken the advice of this movie, maybe the 2008 version will scare people straight.
