Review of The Death of Stalin (2017) by Lauren S — 21 Apr 2018
When I read about this movie, it seemed unlikely to me that I could find anything remotely accurate about this place and time--Stalinist Russia--funny. I was right. It was well-done, it had some darkly humorous characters and situations, and it was historically accurate in many respects.
So since it had a pretty fair degree of accuracy in terms of people, places and actions, I found the movie pretty disturbing and difficult to sit through most of the time. However, it is probably worth seeing.
So go.
