What could of been, third movie trying the death of superman story. And like the rest they just don't understand the comic and what made it so great, this one I would say was a little close, but not close anuff to what it should of been.

Again sticking with the boring new 52 style and characteristics of the characters. Superman is just way to young and not very inspiring and hopefull. Flash leared it was ok to share his identity to his close friends and family before superman did, thats something superman should have down before anyone else.

The voices for superman and lex luthor just do not fit the characters, I can live with supermans voice, but lex's voice does not match the character at all. Like the previous death of superman style movies, they dont understand you cant just throw superman vs doomsday fight near the end, each scar on superman has to be earned.

It hae to take time, but in this he starts looking beat right as the fight starts. You habe to earn his death, you need time to build it up. A doomsday film needs him involed in the film for about 80% of the movie, this movie tho only does like 55% maybe 60%.

Only real good things I can say is some of the fight scenes were clever and epic, thats it really. This movie also should of been a stand alone film, but sadly it has the bagage of the previous films such as jl war, jl throne of atlantis, etc.

Them trying to tie all these storys togther in the movie just didnt work in this movie, it just got in the way. I do not need a scene by scene or word for word adaptation of death of superman comic, but I want one that understands the core elements of what made that comic great, but sadly warner brothers seems to think all that makes a death of superman story is doomsday and superman dying.

I'd give it like a 6 out of 10. Could of been much better. (Also those shoed in after credits, just didnt work, should of just left with superman dead and dealt with everything else in the sequel).
