Review of The Descendants (2011) by John D — 23 Aug 2012
After the first 20 or so minutes, you'll be on edge until the very end. Clooney's character, like so many, goes though a LOT, but unlike so many (especially in cinema)- he deals with each situation understandably, logically, and satisfyingly.
This movie's able to be funny, sickening, and heartbreaking all within the realms of reality and consistent honesty. That's a rarity.
