Review of The Descent (2005) by Private U — 09 Nov 2011
After having a miserably boring experience after watching "Sanctum", I had some little doubts for this movie. After watching it, those doubts disappeared. "The Descent" is one hectic horror film: the female characters are just as scared as I could be, the "crawlers" are horrifyingly creepy, the dark cave is such a perfect scary setting, the gore is outstanding, & the acting makes you worry for the girls' survival.
"The Descent" is one of the greatest horror films of the 21st Century! Note to self & others: never go caving & if you want to watch a great film on caves, watch "The Descent", not that "Sanctum" garbage.
