Dominic Cooper gives a very cool and convincing performance. That's about it though. I can't tell if films like this, especially ones with an historical background, are actually believable. I'd put this one at 20/80 for believable/not believable. And that's outside what they tell you as facts throughout the film.
It was a very intriguing story...but I think what they failed to do was really explore the relationship between Cooper's two characters. It just seemed like a violent, sometimes disturbing version of Entourage.
